I read your blog and i want to bring you some encouraging news as i have gone thru very similar things as you are going thru with your pregnancy and baby. My daughter amber was born 11 years ago and she had many difficulties which i found out when i was only 4 mths pregnant. She has spina bifida with many many problems.Amber was diganosed as the 3rd most severe case in mb. I to was told that the doctors didnt think she would live for more than 5 days and she would have to have many corrective surgeries to make it to the age of 11 if she even lived at all.I got offered an abortion and instantly refused to hear the doc finish his sentence. I gave birth to my daughter 5 mths later and it has been a long and very difficult struggle but rewarding to the end as my daughter is ALIVE!!! She had a 12 hour kyphosis removal surgery this past april and the chance of her surviving that surgery was only 15% and the chance of her coming out of intensive care was only 20%. Once again she beat the odds and her 18th surgery and is still a outgoing, brilliant girl.Keep your spirits up,believe, pray and love your child as miracles do happen everyday!! Im keeping your familly in my prayers.
Theres a reason God has chosen Nathan and yourself as parents for this baby..that in itself should be a reward..Thats what i tell myself everday to keep positive.
Take care,
TinaUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14466123485106731260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3728609888766195286.post-7632371844380141522009-08-28T16:49:58.426-05:002009-08-28T16:49:58.426-05:00No worries about the pizza! You will be in my prayers as well.
I also want to let you know how we were faced with a similar issue. We were given the option to abort our baby. Tests also showed our baby was not to be normal. God doesn't make mistakes! That is what I told myself alot during my pregnancy. Now I don't know if it was human error, that the test was wrong or if it was truly a miracle. I like to think of it as a miracle. Our baby was born heathly. Put it in God's hands no one can heal like he can.
Thanks for sharing your story.
Jen Rempeljohnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14928809000050232539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3728609888766195286.post-10818518878285400402009-08-19T10:08:47.391-05:002009-08-19T10:08:47.391-05:00I too, came upon your blog today through Stacey. Although you can't find survival stories of kids with both conditions, perhaps your baby will be just that survival story that someday another mom worried like you will read and that will give her hope. :)S Club Mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13061586966925524808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3728609888766195286.post-52120780637895303432009-08-18T15:35:32.104-05:002009-08-18T15:35:32.104-05:00I'm glad you like the song. And I agree 100% with you saying that expecting moms should never take for granted the kicking and squirming that is happening inside of them. It's a miracle and we should treat it like that.
Take care - and enjoy those yummy pears!Wenonahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00673427351422070540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3728609888766195286.post-18062297406254842172009-08-17T18:13:50.817-05:002009-08-17T18:13:50.817-05:00I will continue to pray for you guys. I pray that things will keep looking better at each appointment.

I'm not sure if you have an infant car seat already, but if you like, you can use mine for the first while. If your baby is going to be quite small, most infant seats don't work so well, but the one I have is awesome for bitty babies.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16786730301134834985noreply@blogger.com
